OrthoMed was founded in 1990, by Bryan Corning, Advanced Registered Orthopaedic Technologist with the CSOT.
Leadership Team
Andrew Pace, President and CEO
Andrew has over 15 years of senior leadership experience spanning the technology and health care sectors. In the health care field Andrew was the COO of the Pace Group of Companies, which included Pace Homecare Services Inc., The Pace Consulting Group Inc. and Pace Physiotherapy Centres Inc. The Pace Group provided professional health care services to help individuals, families, and organizations maintain their health and productivity with services available throughout Ontario. In the technology world Andrew worked with Research In Motion, the creators of BlackBerry, to manage RIMs channels of distribution and develop products that revolutionized the smartphone world.
Laura Hatton R.Kin, Manager Operations and Client Care
Laura has a Kinesology degree from the University of Waterloo and is registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Laura is responsible for the day to day operations of OrthoMed, ensuring that our team delivers the right product at the right time.
As a Kinesiologist Laura is passionate about helping our clients regain their quality of life by matching them with the most appropriate orthopaedic device or support product for their unique condition.
Denise Roy, National Product Specialist
Denise Roy is OrthoMed’s National Product Specialist and Manager. She’s been learning all the ins and outs of bracing solutions since 2000, undergoing some brag-worthy professional training with Breg, DonJoy, Ossur industry leaders in brace technology. Denise started her career in physical therapy as a PTA working alongside Physiotherapists at North York General Hospital and then moved into orthopaedic device sales in the field of Range of Motion restoration. Before joining OrthoMed Denise managed a private Orthopaedic clinic working directly with Surgeons to support their patient care.
Denise is responsible for managing our product specialist and brace fitting team to ensure our clients find the perfect product for their unique circumstances. She is truly devoted to helping others move past their limitations with orthopaedic solutions that heal, empower, and redefine lives.
