Gel Mate Silicone Gel Sheet Scar Management

Gel Mate is a medical-grade silicone gel sheet that helps flatten, soften, and fade raised scars. Its self-adherent silicone side and anti-microbial cloth backing make it comfortable under clothing while providing lasting pressure and hydration for faster healing. Each sheet includes a grid for easy progress tracking.

Features: 

• Medical grade silicone gel sheeting helps to flatten and soften raised scars and may prevent formation of hypertrophic (thickened) or Keloid scars.
• Silicone gel sheets help improve the color and appearance of new or mature scars.
• Only silicone gel sheeting applies long-term light pressure on scars, unlike rub-on gels or creams. Silicone gel has also been shown to add a hydrating effect to the scar and surrounding skin that helps in increasing mobility and faster healing.

Gel Mate silicone gel sheet is available in a 4" x 6" sheet. 

Directions for Use:

Use scissors to trim the Gel Mate sheet to size at least one half to one inch larger than the scar. Wash and dry skin over and around the scar. Peel the backing from the gel sheet and apply the adhesive side over the scar. Stretch lightly as needed to achieve good contact over the scar.

Care Suggested wear time is 10 to 23 hours per day. Remove once a day to wash with water and mild soap. Place on the plastic cover and allow to air dry. Replace when gel loses its adherence. Daily washing may extend use to a month or more.

Caution Do not use on open wounds. Use after stitches or closures are removed. Not a sterile product. If rash or discomfort occurs, discontinue use & contact your health care provider. Keep out of reach of children & pets.
