Allard Pavlik Harness
The Deluxe Pavlik Harness is used in the treatment of Developmental Hip Dysplasia (DHD). DHD is treated by correctly positioning the head of the femur (thigh bone) within the hip socket. This will allow the hip joint to develop normally. The correct position is achieved when the baby's legs are flexed to about 90 degrees to 100 degrees and the legs are brought out to the side (abduction).
